Dear Dad,
The joy in me knows no bound anytime I serve you, your meal. Wash your clothes, polish your shoes, iron your clothes especially your trousers... You taught me and made me understand men have their unique way of ironing their trousers and you gave me the code not every girl is aware of these, but am a fortunate daughter. My first love taught me how to serve a man his meal, In his voice "this is how you serve your husband his food anytime you are serving him especially if the meal is swallow" the side meant for the Eba and the side meant for the soup (it's important).
I was so close to you, you scold me when am wrong and you would apologize to me because my face wasn't looking interesting to you. You've never raised your hands on me. Except once when you slapped me in the presence of my friends in the kitchen and you said sorry to me and I will never forget that day. Being close to you dad was the best thing that has ever happened to me! I know you when you are happy or sad and you always want to see smiles on my face.
I really do love you "C YO" and I miss our chats, alone in the living room. Death or no death dad, you are much alive in my memory and the memories we shared will forever be remembered in my heart.
Sincerely fathers are in the best position to teach you what life is all about. You really taught me so many lessons life would offer me, how and when to react to the offer, what to say and what not to say or do.
You were dear to many because of your intelligent contributions to things that matters.
Mr Kingsley .O. Onuiri was a "simple and down to earth" in politics he was "first among equals" in social life he was "second to none" a man that can be called the man of the people.
He had a charming personality, peaceful and peace loving. He would give up his rights in the interest of peace and harmony but he would with equal readiness fight for the rights of others especially the less privileged.
He was honest and frank (almost to a fault) He related with people of all works of life with ease and had a way of making people relaxed. His enemies are unknown, but friendship is claimed wherever his name is mentioned.
No matter where I go in life, who I get married to and how much time I spend with people. You are always on my mind and will forever remain my favorite sugar daddy and my number one man crush.
I have walked miles in life and I really don't care how many miles lies ahead of me, but am really fortunate, happy and glad that I met you and known you as my father.
It's exactly seven years today I lost you to the cold arms of death and so unfortunate that my tears weren't strong enough to bring you back to me till date. For seven years I have long to hear from you, just for once.
I remember 11th of March 2012 at about 9pm was our last day of hearing each other's voice via a phone call. Yesterday I long so much for your voice and your special way of calling out for me, but it was tears all through.
My promise to you dad, is that I will always remember your last words to me and bring them to bear " that God will take control of everything that concerns me and no matter what comes my way I should always have faith in God and to never loose my focus"
Dad: So how far with your IT?
